Possibilities:
1) William Gardham bp 1731 in Blacktoft (abt 10 miles from S. Cave, age at marriage 26)
2) William Gardom bp 1737 in S. Cave (age at marriage, 20)
3) A William Gardham/Joanna Hill marriage record in York 1764 lists William’s birth year as 1743, York is 35 miles from S. Cave
All would be able to have a son Roger in 1763. #3 seems least likely due to the distance of his marriage site. #2 seems most probable as it is in S. Cave. #1 remains a possibility
Other newer possibilities:
4) Will Gardam, bp 1725 in Whitgift (24 miles to S. Cave, age at marriage 32)
5) William Gardam, bp 1715 in Adlingfleet (27 miles to S. Cave, age at marriage 42)
These newer ones are now in the running as we have his brides age at marriage - 33.
