Source 314 is proof that Samuel Chattick and Elizabeth Logan are NOT his parents. They were parents of a man who was born in 1855. As Aaron was born abt 1807, the same parents cannot produce siblings 48 years apart. Further research on this pair shows that Samuel Chittick was b 1825.
Possible lead on a father: listed as an heir of John Sharpton, Edgefield Co, SC record book A-2 1827; Also Alexander Sharpton was granted guardianship of William G. Chadwick.
