From Find-a-grave: Lorenz was the son of Valentin Staufenbiel & Marie Strecker. He married Elizabeth Pferner 14 August 1854 and they had 10 children. After Elizabeth died, he married Veronika Monika Geiger (daughter of Antonii Geiger & Agatha Kurz) 8 Dec 1875 in Hecker, IL. They had 4 children: Bertha, Jacob, Ida & Gustav.
