JERRY D. GLISSON
Jerry D. Glisson, 50, died at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at his home in Alton after a lengthy illness.
Born August 19, 1961, in Manila, Arkansas, he was the son of George L. and Ruth (Cox) Glisson.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn marie Clark of East Alton; two grandchildren, Dalton and Hayley; and his brothers and sisters, Billy Glisson of Corcoran, California, Carolyn Taylor, Algie Glisson, and Ricky Glisson, all of Alton, Charlotte Richards of East Alton and Timmy Glisson of Alton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, February 24, at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Pastor Timothy Keller will officiate. Burial will be private.
