Notes for Ruth Lillian Tennison
Obit: Ruth Lillian Street, 91, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021. Ruth was born on March 18, 1930 in Greene County, Arkansas to the late Clifford Allen and Pearl Payne Tennison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Street; brothers, Guy, Leon, and Alvin; and sisters, Ileen, Mathel, and Thelma.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Williams (Elwyn), and Pamela Jones (Larry) both of Paragould; son, Lanny Street (Donna) of Paragould; sisters, Geraldine Wall, and Edith Mosby; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held Monday from 1-2 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Harold Diggs and Rhyne Putman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
