Others claim that there are multiple Henry Trents that are getting conflated.

It is clear that this Henry Trent is father of Martha Patsy Trent from the contents of his will, which lists all of his children. It does nnot mention his wife so we presume that she predeceased him.

Henry Trent’s wife (who is also Martha Patsy Trent’s mother) is unclear. Some believe her to be Joanna Hooper (and there is clear evidence that Joanna Hooper was married to a Henry Trent but whether it is this Henry Trent is unclear). Some believe her to me Sarah Powell.

It is also unclear who Henry Trent’s parents are. It seems quite tempting to tie him to Henry Trent/Edith Harris who are well documented. This elder Henry Trent’s will in 1726 mentions a son Henry who is not yet 21. This would fit with this Henry. Others believe that the two are not father and son (see source 1110).

Note: Be careful, There is a Henry Trent from Goochland/Henrico and a Henry Trent from Albermarle, Amhearst, Bedford
