Source 1122 is memior of John Liles Welch family and it omits any mention of Liles as a child of John Liles Welch and Rachel Archer. Indeed, the 1830 census of John Liles Welch shows two male children (which would correspond to Thomas Archer Welch and John Wesley Welch).
The lure to make the tie based on Liles being John Liles Welch’s middle name does not hold up to the above.
