Nadine Harrison Stewart Casey Dunigan

Nadine Harrison Stewart Casey Dunigan of Republic, MO was born July 5, 1924 in Cardwell, MO and passed away April 8, 2013 in Springfield, MO.

She worked as an employee of Emerson Electric as a nurses aide and as a teachers aide in the Kennett schools.

With her son, Ken Stewart, she attended Mississippi Co. Community College.

While in Kennett she served as president of Veterans wives club and the AARP organization.

After moving to Republic, she enjoyed her Church of Christ family, her family get together and going to the shows in Branson. She enjoyed crocheting and there are many afghans to prove it.

She was a two time cancer survivor and delighted in wearing her "Relay for Life" T-shirts. As one of her grandsons called her "she was a tough ole bird"! She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Stewart, her parents, Ed Harrison and Bessie Harrison Auvenshine, sisters, Verna Harrison, Dorothy Hardin, Peggy Hawkins and her brother, Malcolm Harrison. Also, her step-daughter and son-in-law, Norman and Charlene Winkler, step-son, Kenneth Casey and husbands Bland Stewart, Charley Casey and Lee Dunigan.

She is survived by her daughter, Pat Burge, Republic, son, Ken Stewart (Pam Welsh) Springfield, MO, Niece, Shirley Maddux (Jerry) Horn Lake, MA, step-son, Kevin Casey (Judy) Senath, MO, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Bradshaw Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial will be at the Cardwell Cemetery.

Donations can be made in honor of Nadine to the Cardwell Cemetery, Cardwell, MO.
